Psicoterapeuta ad indirizzo psicodinamico

Tutti noi nasciamo o introversi o estroversi: sono due caratteristiche della personalità con le loro peculiarità.

Più precisamente i due termini rimandano a due dei tipi psicologici, ossia strutture di personalità, introdotti per la prima volta da Jung per distinguere due modi diversi di rapportarsi con il mondo esterno.

Mentre l’introverso predilige il mondo interiore e appare pertanto, focalizzato sulle emozioni e sui propri pensieri, l’estroverso dirige la sua energia psichica verso l’esterno e risulta interessato alle persone e ai fatti.

Strada facendo si scoprono anche le cosiddette “funzioni inferiori” che sono il pensiero e il sentimento, e la sensazione con l’intuizione (funzioni razionali ed irrazionali).

Se queste funzioni sono tra loro in equilibrio, noi stiamo bene; se nelle due coppie una ha il predominio sull’altra, siamo nell’unilateralità cioè nella patologia: questo è quello che cura lo psicoterapeuta ad indirizzo psicodinamico.
